My partner’s tennis coach is retired, and was kind enough to give me a free lesson. There was another gentleman at the club that day, and as we were leaving I noticed he’d left his coffee. I asked the coach if he’d still want his coffee, it would be cold now.
The coach responded that the man had been in the military, that he would still drink the coffee cold.
There was a time in my life when I thought that tepid coffee was the worst.
I’m gained some perspective since then.
