I panicked – I was used to providing 2-3 and I had been out of work a year.
Last night I asked 8 former colleagues and managers for a job reference. Before 8 am all 8 had responded they would be happy to.
By 11am 3 had completed it already. It’s a Tuesday – they have jobs and lives.
I’m crying right now. The good kind.
From family members telling me I was a failure, that I was arrogant, or not as good as I thought I was.
To my Wharton management 100 classmates voting me “most likely to end up in a dumpster”
