Philadelphia is a very chaotic place.
Where a local will tell a traveler that broad street is 14th street.
But eat dinner outside, a few feet from a homeless man and think nothing of it.
A city that refers to the homeless as a problem and removes benches so there is nowhere to sleep.
There aren’t public bathrooms either.
Lady Liberty said
Give me your tired, your poor
And Philly said fuck ‘em, they need a job.
No self reflection on the corruption, the greed, the callousness in this city.
Only the punishment of those who have nothing.
