I want to know why a history of psych can exclude you from receiving a life saving organ transplant but it is almost impossible to qualify for disability with a psych diagnosis.
I want to know why we lock up psych patients for being suicidal but ignore them as “faking it” for real medical issues, bill them for the psych stay, and don’t treat the medical issue.
I want to why we blame psych patients for the mortality rate of psych patients given the above, and also that we pump them full of drugs that cause massive metabolic issues.
Because all these things?
They seem a bit contradictory.
