Laughs and Lobotomies

In Ireland the number three has been sacred for centuries.  It is why we accepted Catholicism so fully when Saint Patrick explained the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to the Celts with a Three leaf clover.  It was so familiar.  Celtic knots are infinite.  The triple knot is never ending and symbolic of life, death, and rebirth.  My father has three children.  I am, as expected, the middle child.  Though we are splintered, though we are hurting, I hope we will find our way back to each other when we are ready.  And for my part in things, I am sorry.  You two, in my heart, have always had my love, and always will.  If that means apart or together in life, I will honor what is best for us.  We are all hurt.  But one day we will heal.
