The most evil that was ever done in this world has been done by men who were “just following orders”
For it has always allowed the guilty to wash their hands.
‘Twas not I that tied the hangman’s noose.
‘Twas not I that shot the fatal bullet.
And so the hangman also hangs for the crimes of the guilty.
The soldier tried for the crimes of politicians.
And the world goes on.
For they had families to think of.
And they were just following orders.
The fickle unwashed hordes pick up another torch and pitchfork, another target, spurred on by the same machine who caused the prior crimes.
And so the circle goes.
More torches will be snuffed out, pitchforks broken – and the holders never be held to account.
Until someone says no.
You are wrong.
I will risk everything.
Lose everything.
So that you know your own evil.
So that you see yourself.
So you cannot hide from yourself.
We are not crazy, and we are not stupid.
And all it takes sometimes, is one man to make a stand.

Genocide perpetrated by victims of genocide is an evil the world refuses to see.
An evil so unspeakable.
But you saw it.
You know what it is like, how could you?
How could anyone live in a world that allows that to happen, and denies it, and supports it?
Power. Money. Greed.
They were just following orders.
They had families.
They could not speak up.

I pray that everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
If your words and actions could not stop this evil, mine will do less.
