Father you ask too much of me I have nothing left
Daughter, I did not ask yourself to split yourself into pieces and gift them all away
But first they only asked for fingertips and I had many fingertips and I thought I did not much use them, so if they needed them, they should have them, so soon I had no fingertips.
Daughter, did you need your fingertips?
Yes, Father, I needed my fingertips.
Daughter, when they asked for your fingers, your hand, both your arms, did you do the same, asking nothing in return?
Yes, Father, I did.
Daughter, were you hoping others would help you, as you helped them?
Yes, Father, I was
Daughter, were you hoping, just one time, they would ask another?
Yes, Father, I was
Daughter, did any help you as you helped them or ask of another as they asked of you?
No, Father, they have not.
Daughter, have they now taken all of you, that you have given freely?
Yes, Father, they have
Daughter, when I asked of you to gift of yourself as the spring gifts to the river which gifts to the ocean which gifts to the clouds which gifts to the ground which gifts back to the spring so that all may be kept whole, did you understand?
No, Father, I did not understand.
Daughter I asked you to gift of yourself but not yourself. I asked you to keep yourself whole. Because you too are beautiful and wonderdrous and full of love and deserving of all the good things of earth and sky and soul. I asked you to keep yourself safe from those who would take from you, and help heal those who have been taken from. But Daughter, you did not understand, and in giving too much you harmed yourself and them. Because how can they heal also if you cannot heal them? You must work as the spring works with the ocean. You cannot break it. Do you understand now Daughter?
Yes, Father, it is I who was wrong. It is I who did not understand. I am yours. And I will protect what you have created, and heal what you have created.
